Henry Knowles, Henry has been part of the IHSC since its inception in the year 2000. In 2013 we are pleased to be sharing Henry's incredible music with both our Salsa and Hustle dance communities. This very special disc jockey's mixing abilities are unmatched and respected worldwide.

Henry Knowles is commonly known as the # 1 Salsa DJ in the world. Invited to play at the the top salsa dance congresses across the globe, Henry is the consummate professional with more than 20 years of experience catering to the serious Salsero. Born in New York City’s ‘Spanish Harlem’ and of Puerto Rican descent, Henry's love for the music that makes his blood flow was born during the family parties in New York City and afternoon rains of his childhood summers in Puerto Rico. On this tropical island, and in New York City is where he found his soul—and learned to dance Salsa. A dancer, practically all his life—"My heart beats on clave" —he is known to hold his own and understands how to honor and inspire a Salsero on the dance floor. Henry has performed as a disc jockey, master of ceremonies, sound engineer, video jockey and promoter in major nightclubs and venues around the world throughout his career span.

With his yearly visits to the IHSC, Henry developed an interest in Hustle and its music.. To that end, taking his extensive knowledge of Latin music along with his incredible mixing skills, Henry is quickly making a name for himself as one of the Top Latin Hustle deejays as well! His fresh approach to Hustle and Dance music has left both old school and new dancers screaming for more. Henry is "The DJ’s disc jockey", spinning that tension-building beat and filling dancers with ánimo. With la clave in his heart and the music in his veins, he carries his passion for Latin culture and music into this genre, adding a strong percussive element to his mixes.

Victor Loveira, WCS, is originally from Houston, TX, He has over 30 years experience as a DJ and 16 years experience as a west coast swing DJ. Victor's first event to DJ was The Texas Classic in 1995 in Dallas, Texas. From that point on, he has had the good fortune of DJing many of the countries’ top swing events including The US Open, Dallas DANCE, Boogie by the Bay, USA Grand Nationals, Americas' Classic, Liberty Swing, Swing Diego, Swing Fling, Summer Hummer, Nashville Classic, Worlds and Phoenix. Victor has also traveled internationally to DJ at prestigious swing events in London. To his credit, Victor is considered by peers to be one of the top Swing DJs in the business and travels 40 weeks in a given year. In 2005, Victor was honored with the AllSwing DJ of the Year Award. In 2011he won Best DJ of the year at the first annual VIP Westie Awards Gala, an honor bestowed on him by his west coast swing dance peers. Also, Victor was inducted into the 2012 DJ Hall of Fame, receiving The Wetzel award, named after the late great DJ Kenny Wetzel.
